The Court Appointed Special Advocate program (or, CASA) trains and supports volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children in foster care.
They are in our classrooms, daycares, in our neighborhoods and on our streets. Here one minute; gone the next.
Kids in foster care live in a confusing and constantly changing world. They have to navigate that chaos each day. New homes, new workers, new schools, new everything.
A CASA is appointed by the Court to advocate for the best interests of a foster child. We make sure their needs are met and their voice is heard. CASA is a consistent, adult presence for a child in care.
